May I extend my warmest New Year’s greetings to all of you. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the efforts you devoted to the work of the path in your respective roles and positions during the past year.

With the beginning of the new year, we have now entered the first year of the “three years, one thousand days” season leading up to the 130th Anniversary of Oyasama.

The “Visits by Church Headquarters Officials” have been underway since last fall and are being followed by the “Visits to All Churches.” It is my hope that through those visits all of us Yoboku can heighten the awareness of being Oyasama’s instruments and unite our minds so that we can energetically promote pre-anniversary activities.

Let us work to measure up to God’s parental heart that desires to save all humankind by paying attention to those around us, speaking proactively to them, and reaching out to them.

May I ask for your continued efforts during this new year.
